It’s time for the Annual Car Show. This year we will have great food specials, raffles for charity, trophies, prizes, and a live broadcast by Real Oldies 1250 & Bruce Marshall. The charity of choice again this year is BayState MaryLane Hospital, cancer research department. This is a very worthy cause indeed. There is no fee to get in or to register your car, but I encourage you to buy raffle tickets for prizes and /or make a donation to the charity. Custom Car Show T-Shirts will also be available the day of the show. The lot will open at 9am to start placing cars, with registration and judging to follow. The show runs from 10am-2pm. All prizes and trophies will be awarded promptly by 2pm. Bring your hot rod or classic by or just stop by to check them all out.

Starting on Saturday, May 1 from 5-8, we will kick off our summer entertainment schedule, with live music from country recording artist Lyle Pierce.

Starting on May 7, we will continue with our Friday Family Fun Night . I  encourage everyone to bring their hot rods by and sit and enjoy some delicious food, and family friendly entertainment. I have booked Bruce Marshall from Real Oldies 1250 Radio, local favorite & DJ Fran Mitus, and Country singer Lyle Pierce to play on my Friday nights from 5-8 pm. (weather permitting of course). We will have great food specials, local sponsors, raffles, and more. Bring the family and relax and enjoy a night out.

On top of that, I am in the process of booking some great local talent for shows here on Saturdays, from 5-8pm. Kyle Ray, Paisley Rowland, Donna Lee, and the Crooked Ledge Band are among a few of the performers. I am also booking a band or two to play here on some Thursdays, as well as some Sundays. Sponsorship of these shows is still available.

The first Monday of each month will be Polish Music Night, with Joey Kargol providing the entertainment.  We will have polish food, great music, and a generally fun evening with our friends. Keep checking back with the website for more info. As always, these shows will be family friendly and safe and comfortable for the entire family to stop by and have some fun !!

Well the month of June is closing, and the entertainment is just getting heated up. We have had some awesome performances by Noah Lis, Kyle Ray, Lyle Pierce, Donna Lee and The Crooked Ledge Band, Paisley Rowland, and of course our DJ’s. July will be an exciting month here at Janine’s, with the addition of  Mike & Moose,and  maybe some other great acts. Many thanks to my customers for their support with regards to my entertainment application. We were successful in getting the license !!! I applaud the Ware Board of Selectmen for seeing through the vindictive smoke screen put in motion by one of Ware’s own “businessmen”. Janine’s has been nothing but good for the town of Ware since it’s beginning in 1956, and apparently all but one individual can see that. Now that the license is in place, we will try to bring you even more family style entertainment then ever before.
