We hope everyone was pleased with their visits to Janine’s. In the upcoming season, we intend on having all the same great products, and maybe some new ones too. We also are planning to have much more entertainment, as well as numerous events throughout the season. We hope you will all stop by and have some fun with us.

We hope to see you on Sunday ! We thanks you in advance for your generosity !!!
Fall Hours
October is also a great time to try our homemade soups and fresh baked breadbowls, among other delicious items on the menu. Fresh seafood is still very popular, and we have a full line of it 7 days per week, available either baked or fried.
In October we will once again be featuring our daily Homemade Dinner Specials. We will be serving a different homemade meal each day of the week, all month long. Some of the favorites are Yankee Pot Roast, Lazy Pierogi with Kielbasa, Corned Beef N Cabbage, Homemade Beef Stew……just to name a few. Each one is priced right and very delicious !!
October will also bring our Annual Halloween Party for the little ones. It was a big success last year, and it’s certain to be again. There will be games, coloring contests, pumpkin decorating, pictures taken in costume, and much more. Be sure to dress the little ones, 12 and under, and bring them by for some fun !!
I will once again be closing the season on Nov 1st, with my Annual Canned Food Drive, for the local food pantry. If you bring by some non-perishable items as a donation, I’ll give you a free ice cream. Mark it on your calendars so you don’t forget !!! It’s just another way Janine’s Frostee gives back to it’s community !!

1st Live Music Show Results
On Sat Oct 17, from 4-7 we had our first “Live” music performance under our new entertainment license. There was only a limited crowd on hand, I believe due to the cold temps we’ve been having. The ones that did show up were treated to a nice 3 hours of family friendly, soothing country music, performed by Lyle Pierce with the assistance of an incredible back-up singer. They both performed many popular tunes to the delight of the crowd. The deck was heated to provide some additional comfort for those brave souls who came out to support us on our first live music night. I think the show, although performed to a somewhat small crowd, was a big success. With this first event under our belts we will now lay our plans for much more entertainment throughout the season to come.
Thanks to all those who came out to support us, we really appreciate it !! Look for many more good things to come in the near future !!
Rose Sale Results
Well the rose sale has come and gone, and it was another great success ! We sold out of all our roses, as did the entire volunteer crew for Otto Florist. The total was somewhere around 42,000 roses, a complete sell out. Thanks to all of you who helped out, and to those of you who did your part for this wonderful charity by purchasing roses. We’ll see you again next year with another great rose sale .

2009 Car Show
Many thanks to all those who decided to make the trip over to the show. It was awesome to see some familiar faces, and to make some new friends that had never been to Janine’s. Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time. We raised more then $ 800.00 for the BayState MaryLane Hospital Charity. I think that’s pretty good for a couple hours work. Thank you to all who donated items for the raffle table, I couldn’t have done it without you. Thanks also to those who simply bought raffle tickets.
I have some new ideas for the years to come, so please keep your ears open and check with Janine’s often…….you never know what I might do next !!
Thank you all very much for your support !!! More pics are to follow. E-mail me directly if you see something you’d like a copy of !!! Thanks !
Big Dipper Was A Success !
The event in Worcester was a huge success. My Janine’s Team and I went to Elm Park to scoop ice cream for charity. There were more than 7,000 people that passed through the ice cream tent on Saturday afternoon, so I think it went well. We were among two of the newest vendors to join up for the event, called “The Big Dipper”, and the first to “sell-out” all of the ice cream we brought. Apparently the people there could recognize a quality product, because we had a line of people clear across the tent all day. As usual Molly , Anne, and Kayla were amazing at the ice cream freezer, while Lynne and her family helped me with the public relations etc. A big thanks to all of them ! Look for Janine’s to make more appearances at events in the future, it was a lot of fun !
Entertainment License
Many thanks to my customers for their support with regards to my entertainment application. We were successful in getting the license !!! I applaud the Ware Board of Selectmen for seeing through the vindictive smoke screen put in motion by one of Ware’s own “businessmen”. Janine’s has been nothing but good for the town of Ware since it’s beginning in 1956, and apparently all but one individual can see that. Now that the license is in place, we will try to bring you even more family style entertainment then ever before.
Thanks again for all your support, we won’t let you down !!!
